Stockton Springs Community Library’s “Neighbors Helping Neighbors: Seniors at Home in Stockton Springs” series will present Eliza Eager of Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County discussing “Dying Better by Talking Sooner” on Sunday, June 10, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Eager works with Hospice volunteers, developing and presenting programming to build better communication skills around health issues. She is available to support individuals and communities in thinking about advance health care directives.

These interactive workshops enable participants to reflect on experiences with family at the end of life and how these memories shape our attitudes toward end-of-life choices.

Advance care planning materials and handouts with technical information provided and discussed.

Light refreshments will be served at end of talk.

For more information, call the library at 567-4147 or go to stocktonspringslibrary.org.

The presentation is made possible by a grant from the Maine Charity Foundation Fund of the Maine Community Foundation.
