The Playhouse Youth Theater Company will present Natasha L. Cederberg’s comedy “Mystery at Whimbowly Manor” at The Playhouse, 107 Church St.

The show opens Saturday, June 9, at 7:30 p.m.; and continues Sundays, June 10 and 17, at 4 p.m.; and Thursday through Saturday, June 14 through 16, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5, at the door.

When Lady White’s (Ruby Holbrook) diamond necklace disappears after a dinner party, Detective Bradley Baxter (Nathan Waldron) is called in to find out where the prized possession has gone. The case seems simple enough to Lady White’s husband (Sam Potter) and daughter (Jane Rubin-Irish), but when the bumbling detective arrives and sends the household into disorder and frustration, the case becomes anything but simple.

Mary Weaver directs the show. The Playhouse is an intimate theater with limited seating, so calling 338-5777 for reservations is advised.
