As rain continued to dampen fields on Monday and Tuesday, June 4-5, so to has it momentarily dampened the spirits of those set to take in high school baseball and softball playoff games.

The changes have affected, thus far, the Belfast baseball and softball teams and Searsport softball squad.

The Class B North prelim softball playoff game, which will have No. 12 Belfast at No. 5 Foxcroft Academy, has been moved from Tuesday to Wednesday, June 6 at 3 p.m.

The Class B North prelim baseball playoff game, which will have No. 11 Belfast at No. 6 Gardiner, was moved from Monday to Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.

Finally, the Class D South quarterfinal softball playoff game, which will have No. 5 Vinalhaven-North Haven at No. 4 Searsport, has been moved from Tuesday to Thursday, June 7 at noon.
