The Penobscot Bay Singers will present “Isn’t It Romantic?” Friday and Saturday, June 15 and 16, at 7:30 p.m. at United Farmers Market of Maine, 18 Spring St.

The early summer’s evenings of love songs draw from romantic songs of the 1930s through the 1980s. The concert promises to be entertaining and full of fun, swooning and surprises.

There will be the expected pops concert café seating and refreshments provided, courtesy of the singers. Admission is $15 at the door, free for accompanied children.

The Penobscot Bay Singers, originally the Robert Coller Coastal Chorale, has been entertaining audiences in and around Waldo County since 1973. It is an eclectic group, ranging from a pre-teen to singers in their 80s, with varying backgrounds. The common factor is love of choral music.
