Women's league play swings in at Country View

The weekly women's league at the Country View Golf Club started on Thursday, June 7 and saw plenty of fine play.

In the scramble event, Judy Arsenault, Nancy Carney and Linda Potter finished first at 1-under par 35, with 10 putts.

The closest-to-the-pin winners were: Jean Raven, 18-2 on the fourth hole; and Donna Short, 2-6 on the ninth.

League play begins at 9 a.m. on Thursdays and all golfers are welcome to participate.
