Wesers mark 50 years on June 22

Lester "Chuck" and Nancy Weser are celebrating their 50th anniversary June 22, 2018. They were married at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Camden on June 22, 1968.

The couple have a daughter, Heidi (Steven) Burke, and grandson Corey J. Burke of Warrenton, Va.

They owned and operated Classic Imports on Route 1 in Northport for years before moving to Florida, where Chuck was the CRA Officer for Stuart, Fla., and Nancy worked for Carriage House Interiors in Palm Beach. After semi-retiring, they moved to Culpeper, Va., where Nancy worked as a subcontractor for Dynaxys for eight years.

They came back home in 2016 to settle in at their cottage at Lake Quantabacook.

To celebrate their 50th anniversary, the couple went on a cruise to the Panama Canal.
