The Midcoast Babe Ruth League — with most schools having let out for the summer — has seen a bump in activity on the diamonds, with teams swinging to regular-season wins.

The league, which includes youngsters ages 13-15, played exclusively on Sundays to begin the year, but now plays games throughout the week with the end of the regular season only a few days away.

The regular season will conclude Tuesday, June 26, with the postseason scheduled to begin Wednesday, June 27 and conclude with the championship game Monday, July 2 at 5 p.m. at Morrill Field in Rockland.

The Midcoast Babe Ruth League — with most schools having let out for the summer — has seen a bump in activity on the diamonds, with teams swinging to regular-season wins.

The league, which includes youngsters ages 13-15, played exclusively on Sundays to begin the year, but now plays games throughout the week with the end of the regular season only a few days away.

The regular season will conclude Tuesday, June 26, with the postseason scheduled to begin Wednesday, June 27 and conclude with the championship game Monday, July 2 at 5 p.m. at Morrill Field in Rockland.
