Weekly women's, mixed scramble results from Country View

The following is recent news from the Country View Golf Club:

On Sunday, July 15, two teams tied for first in the mixed scramble event and the number of putts by each team was used as the tiebreaker. The winners were Gary Snowden, Keith Todd and Sharon Todd, while second went to John Cushman, Tom Bureau John Lynam and Donna Short

The pin winners were: Tom Bureau, on the fourth hole; and Keith Todd, on the ninth.

The Sunday mixed scramble, which tees off at 2 p.m., is open to all golfers.

On Thursday, July 12, in the women's league scramble, the team of Jean Raven, Joette Fields, Donna Nason and Doris Colwell finished first and the group of Nancy Carney, Lynn Gannon and Donna Short finished second.

The pin winner was: Doris Colwell on the ninth hole.

The women's scramble, which tees off at 9 a.m., is open to all golfers.
