Diane Gautney-Buckley passed away in Portland, Ore., July 23, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband Spencer; and survived by her second husband Daniel; son Jeffrey; daughters Jill, Kristen and Heather; daughter-in-law DeeAnn; son-in-laws Joseph and Glenn; and grandchildren Jake, Robert, Spencer, Olivia, Annabella and Vittoria.

Diane was born in Baltimore, Md., raised her family in Chester County, Pennsylvania. She earned a doctorate from Columbia University, was a licensed psychologist, and an ordained secular Franciscan and certified spiritual director. She valued social justice and dedicated her career to serving vulnerable populations. She worked as Director of Continuing Education at Immaculata College, and served religious vocations at Villa St. John, and the elderly and disabled at Conestoga View.

Diane had an affinity for animals and trees, and the rocky Belfast landscape, where she lived after retiring. She will be remembered as a healer, a loving wife, sister, mother and Gran, and an example of love and acceptance to all who knew her.

Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, 1:30 p.m. at Daylesford Abbey (Paoli ,Pa.). All are welcome, reception immediately following.
