Carol Ann DiTullio, of Ocala, Fla., passed away in the company of her family on Aug. 7, 2018, after a battle with cancer. She was 71.

She is survived by her husband John (Jack) DiTullio; brother Kenneth Boyce; five children, Andrew, Mark, Matthew, Amy and Megan; eight grandchildren, Katie, Jay, Alex, Jacob, Barianne, Benjamin, Juliet and Neko; and one great-grandchild, Elena.

Carol was born in Needham, Mass., on Oct. 21, 1946, to Lester and Marjorie Boyce. She married in 1966 and resided in Massachusetts for the first half of her marriage, moving to Belfast for the second half. Jack and Carol became snowbirds upon retirement and moved full-time to Ocala, Fla., a few years ago.

The focus of Carol’s life was her family. While her husband was working as a Merchant Marine, she focused on raising her five children. As her children grew older, Carol worked in various jobs throughout the Belfast area.

Carol will be remembered for her quirky sense of humor, devotion to her husband, and love of cooking and music.  Her family loved her and she will be missed. A memorial will be planned near Ocala, Fla., in the coming months.
