The City Council and mayor will meet tonight in a workshop facilitated by former Portland Mayor Pamela Plumb to discuss their internal process and conduct toward the public.

The meeting was requested by Mayor Samantha Paradis in June after verbal exchanges between councilors and members of public over the proposed Nordic Aquafarms land-based salmon farm.

Since then, the meeting itself has been a source of tension between the council and mayor.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at City Hall.
