Florence Y. Munson-Haber passed away peacefully Aug. 29, 2018, at Maine Medical Center.

She was born June 14, 1943, in Belfast, where she attended Crosby High School. Flossie worked at a variety of local businesses including the pants factory and was a supervisor at Penobscot Frozen Foods where she was employed for 40 years. Before retiring, she was a receptionist at Belfast Harbor Inn.

Flossie was a life-long resident in Belfast and Northport where she raised her children Myles and Fawn. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Flossie loved all animals, especially horses and birds. She enjoyed spending time outdoors working on the property where she lived since 1962.

In addition to her parents, Flossie was predeceased by her daughter Fawn; brother, Boyd; and sisters Myrna, Beverly and Allene.

She is survived by her husband Paul Haber; son Myles (Julie); sister Fay Gaul; grandchildren Forrest Leigh Munson of Northport, Michael Massenburg (Leslie) of Richardson, Texas, Cooper Munson of Denver, Colo., and Cameron Munson (Kai) of Fort Riley, Kan., great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Flossie will be truly missed by Paul, her best friend, Bea Thomas, her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was awesome!
