Lillian Bishop of Sebring, Fla., and formerly of Stockton Springs, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 5, 2018, after a brief illness.

She was born to Albert and Delia West on Aug. 29, 1938, studied at Stockton School, was married to Richard Bishop. She worked many jobs, her favorite being as an EMT for Stockton Springs Ambulance and ARC group home in Sebring, Fla.

She is survived by a son, Mark Bishop of Brewer, and his significant other Debbie, his three children, Zachary Young and Courtney and Casey Bishop; and one brother, Ralph L. Hall Sr.

She was predeceased by one son, Ricky Bishop, who left twin boys, Matt and Robin Crosby; and a sister Ann, several great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her siblings, brother James West and sisters Phyllis Hall, Carolyn Perkins, Helen Smith, and sister-in-law Helen West.

A memorial service and burial will take place at Sandy Point Cemetery and Saturday, Sept. 29, at noon. Refreshments and conversation will follow the service at the Legion Hall.
