Amy Adams assisted on Bell’s goal with 5:37 remaining.

Belfast was able to earn a penalty corner with under two minutes to play, but the Gardiner defense swarmed and the Lions were unable to put a shot on the cage.

Gardiner led 13-5 in shots and 11-5 in penalty corners.

Richards made eight saves in the cage for the Lions and Alyssa Gould and Lindsay Bell combined for two saves in goal for the Tigers.
