The 2018-2019 PITCH Indoor Soccer Academy is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Oct. 16.

Students are welcome to drop in per class as their winter schedule allows or sign-up for one of three scheduled trimesters scheduled.

The PITCH offers three different soccer classes throughout the week. Students may sign-up for one class or all three. Players save money by signing up for the full year as an academy player for $400 and then attend as many or as few classes as one chooses.

The PITCH will continue to offer a free soccer class to kindergarten children on Thursdays 4 to 5 p.m. Registration is on a first-come. first-serve basis and children must be at least age 4.5 to register.

The PITCH also announces a new free class for children ages 3-4. Mini Movers class is designed by occupational therapist, Paige Wood, for the PITCH.

It is a gross motor program that uses the fundamentals and building blocks of children’s development to create a fun and functional athletic program. Children will be exposed to a variety of sports and games that are broken down into components that meet their developmental levels.

Mini Movers give children opportunities to integrate reflexes, eye-hand coordination and motor development skills into play and learning. The innovative program targets children ages 3-4 in preparation for more organized sports and play.

Mini Movers meet on Saturdays 8:30 to 9:20 a.m.

Sign-up to reserve a spot in the class. Trimester 1 dates: Oct. 20, Nov 10 and 17, Dec 1, 8 and 15.
