Hello to All,

It is chilly as I type this up, has been a rainy day today. The wind is blowing all the leaves off the trees in the yard, and I noticed the same all around here, too. I love all the colors of reds, orange, yellow and more.

It is that time of year again. Getting the house buttoned up for winter, as my Mom used to say. Got apples, need to make my pie. Made some sour pickles so had to try them. I love the fall weather. Snow on Mt. Washington, and didn't want to hear that just yet.

Youth hunting starts on Saturday, Oct. 20. This month is flying right on by. Seems like I notice it more the older I get.

Open House

The old East Knox Schoolhouse, built in 1892, will be having an Open House on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20 and 21, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the ridge by the old Bessey Place before Mount View. The Knox Historical Society is trying to rehab the place slowly.

Just a phone call away

Our condolences to the family of Helen Williams Furrow, 97 years young, as she passed away on Oct. 8. She will be missed by me.

A moment to think about

Darn, you never realize how long a minute is until you are exercising!

Until next week,

Stay warm and safe. Get some fresh air, as it is getting rather chilly outside. Take care, all.
