Priscilla (Leach) Sinclair of Belfast passed away peacefully on Nov. 4, 2018, at the age of 78. She was the daughter of Gertrude (McLaughlin) Leach and Fernald J. Leach. Born and raised on Islesboro, Priscilla also spent many years living in Belfast and Englewood, Fla. She worked for years in the island summer cottages and also spent many years working at the Stinson Seafood Cannery. Later in life she found enjoyment cooking at the Belfast Soup Kitchen. She was particularly proud of the time she spent there.

Priscilla loved Bingo with her friends and proved to be a lucky charm. She enjoyed spending time at the flea market and took great pride in keeping her family well stocked with hand-knit dishcloths and slippers.

Priscilla will best be remembered for her devotion to her daughter Andrea. She worked hard to provide the best possible life for her daughter and was rewarded with many years spent together. The family finds great comfort knowing they are together again.

Priscilla was predeceased by her beloved daughter Andrea; three sisters, Harriet Parsons, Joan Price and Cynthia Percy; and her brother Harold Leach. Her passing was closely followed by her sister Sharon Helps of New Hampshire. She is survived by her companion Moxie the cat; her children Joe and Alcinda Hall of Brewer, Pam Hall and Rick Douglass of Gray, Tim and Dee Hall of Islesboro, and Kim Cushman of Belfast; her sisters, Judy Leach of Islesboro, Leila Babbidge of Islesboro and brother Carleton Leach of New Hampshire.

She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Chad Braford, Kyle Bradford, Sierra Jackson, Nick Coad, Sadee Mitchell, Martin Hall, Brent Hall, Corey Bobb, Kyla MacDougall, Kelsey Honan, Krysti Zollman, Tyler Hall and Curtis Hall; as well as her 10 (soon to be 11) great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held in the spring on Islesboro. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Belfast Soup Kitchen or Waldo County Home Health and Hospice.
