The Unity College cross-country teams were small in overall numbers, but not on effort during the fall season as seven men and three women represented the Rams throughout the five-race season.

The men’s team was made up of seniors Ryan Hanrahan and Den Suehiro; junior Bryce Greaves; sophomores Kyle Lichtenwalner, Dan Maxfield and Chris Milne; and freshman Nick Alpeza.

The women’s team was comprised of senior Rachel Biedak and freshmen Lauren Biedak and Makayla Yager.

The men’s team placed sixth among seven teams at the Mariner Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 8 at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast and first among two teams on Sept. 15 at the Unity College Invitational.

Members of the Rams men’s participated in three more events over the course of the season — as did the three members of the women’s team in its five scheduled races — but did not have enough runners to score as a team.

Unity College competes in the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC), which is a Division II conference in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association.
