To all of my Mom’s dedicated readers and followers,

As many of you know, my Mom, Beverly Ludden, was hospitalized the first week of October. She was admitted to Waldo County General Hospital. She was diagnosed with pneumonia and also had a mild stroke. The stroke has affected her vision and she is having problems with weakness and being able to stand.

While at WCGH, she met a lot of great people and received wonderful care. She has since been transferred to Harbor Hill for rehabilitation, where she has also met a bunch of great people and is receiving great care.

If you are in the area of Harbor Hill, she would love a visit. She is in Room 105. If you are able to stop in, please sign her visitor book that is located beside the TV. Also, please let her know who you are when you visit, as there are many times when she is unable to see very well.

If you would like to send her a card her address is: Beverly Ludden, Room 105, 2 Footbridge Road, Belfast, ME 04915.

Mom asked me to send out a thank to everyone out there for all of their support and dedication in following the Jackson news over the years.

Lastly, my family and I would like to thank everyone who has sent cards, love, thoughts and prayers to Mom while she has been ill.

A final thank you to April for taking over the Jackson column.
