Lee A. Flood, 66, of Belfast, died at home unexpectedly Nov. 18, 2018.

Lee was born in Belfast on July 24, 1952, to Allen and Louise (Canning) Flood.

Raised in Belfast, he grew up an avid hunter, and enjoyed tinkering with vehicles and racing cars in the 1970s. Lee loved church, music, Beagles — specifically Midnight — and reading. Lee read his Bible every morning. He worked at Dutch Chevrolet for the past 15 years. Lee loved his family deeply and lived for his grandchildren.

In addition to his father, Lee was predeceased by two brothers, Mitchell and Allen.

Lee is survived by his wife of 23 years, Virginia; children, Matthew Elwell of Union; his mother, Louise; siblings, Rick Flood, Roland Flood and Jessica Flood; grandchildren, Clark, Jordan and Bailey of Union; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins, and a special cat, Squeaky.

A visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast, with Pastor Chad Colburn officiating. Immediately following the services, there will be a reception at South Liberty Baptist Church.
