The Montville Town Office will be closing at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve and also on New Year’s Eve. As of this time, there is no Board of Selectmen meeting planned for either date.

Sand, anyone?

A reminder that Montville residents are entitled to two 5-gallon buckets of sand, per household and per storm, from the residents’ sand shed located between the transfer station and the Montville Fire Station. Help yourself! No sand should be taken from the town sand stockpile in the big pointy building.

Liberty Library

You may have noticed the new bench and table installed between Peggy Deutsch's house and the library before it was covered with snow. These were made possible by donations in memory of Joe Rehmeyer and Sarason Liebler, who both passed away in 2018. Thank you to the many who made donations for this project. Thank you also to Ben Rehmeyer, who designed the installation, and Freshwater Stone, who constructed it.
