A bin has been placed at the Montville transfer station for recycling clothes, shoes and fabric. According to Apparel Impact's flyer, they are a New England company which is veteran-owned. It was established in 2014 and recycles over 2 million pounds of textiles annually. It also provides over 3,000 New Hampshire and Maine families with clothing annually. The annual Maine Hire-A-Vet campaign is underway and is a statewide effort to commit at least 100 employers to hire at least 100 veterans and military family members during a 100-day period. The communities that make up Regional School District 3 are invited to join Superintendent Paul Austin for coffee and conversation during the months of January, February and March. Come talk about things happening in the district, mingle with community members and enjoy a hot cup of coffee to start your day. Each "Coffee and Conversation" event will begin at 7 a.m.
