Those friends include pianist Donald Shirley, subject of the recent Hollywood movie “Green Room." Lund said he will feature only one jazz singer, Nancy Marano, also a friend and a fine jazz singer and music educator at Manhattan School of Music.

“And I also will play guitarist John Pizzarelli, who was a music customer of mine when he was still a teenager, now an established star,” Lund said.

The show will focus on jazz piano, vibraphone, jazz violin, jazz guitar and jazz organ, he said.

The show will be broadcast at 89.9 FM in the Midcoast, 99.9 FM in Bangor, and also will be streamed live at The studio line for listeners to call in during the live broadcast is 469-0500.
