Hello All,

I hope you have been staying warm, and dealing with this cold as much as possible. It has been too cold for me, and I stay home all I possibly can. Thank goodness for friends and family that help out. I hope the woodchuck, Phil, is correct, never saw his shadow, so maybe we will see the spring weather early, sounds pretty good to me. I can always wish anyway. Actually the original Phil died, so I guess he has a substitute. Regardless, spring cannot come too soon for me.

Have a great week, and stay warm. I hear those snowbirds are having some cold weather, too. Stay safe. Look out for one another. Sometimes a phone call means the world to an elderly person.

Thanks to those that called or emailed me as to my inquiry in last week’s paper. A genealogist will be working on the history. And also the Frye Mountain CD is still in the works, and I don't know when it will be finished for those that have asked, and I wish I had a date for you.

Meetings about the Bicentennial event for our town have been taking place and asking for town folk to submit some history on your Knox family. Events are being planned, and many volunteers are needed. Someone to head up the Craft Fair for one. There will be a parade of some sort.

Knox Historical Calendars are still for sale. I enjoyed seeing the picture of Susie Hubbard, for one.
