Union Harvest Grange

It is hard to believe, but town meeting is only two weeks away! Once again Union Harvest grange will be hosting town meeting dinner. The grange will be supplying the main dishes, rolls, pies and drinks. They are calling on all of the wonderful cooks and bakers in Montville to donate sides and desserts. Anything, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated! Hope to see you on Saturday, March 23, at 10 a.m. for the meeting.

Laura Jackson will be sharing some photographs taken in the English Lake District, as well as many items from her Beatrix Potter collection.

Special Story Time

Saturday, April 13, at 10 a.m., Laura will be reading "The Tale of Jeremy Fisher" in the children’s room. Following the story, participants will be making paper plate frog puppets. Snacks will be provided. All ages welcome.

Saturday, April 6, at 1 p.m., Diane Magras, author of "The Mad Wolf's Daughter" and companion book "The Hunt for the Mad Wolf's Daughter."

From Acadia National Park to the Scottish borders, Maine author Diane Magras has always found her inspiration in natural and historical worlds. Both Maine and Scotland influenced her middle-grade adventure "The Mad Wolf’s Daughter" and its companion book "The Hunt for the Mad Wolf's Daughter." Join her to hear more about how these books came to be and the castles this author loves! A reading and book-signing will be included. Ages 7 and up.
