The Unity College women’s basketball team, under the leadership of coach Bob Witts, had a tough 2018-19 campaign on the hardwood as the Rams finished with a 2-17 record.

Team members included Lisa Cebula, Samantha Jalkowski, Demitria Giroux, Cyndle Turcotte, Emily MacDonald, Abigail Sharp, Victoria Anderson, Lauren Simpson and Ashlyn Rogers.

The Rams were 2-13 in conference, 1-8 at home and 1-9 on the road. Unity averaged 22.8 points, 28.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists.

Unity College competes in the Yankee Small College Conference, a Division II conference in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association.

The Rams earned a 69-10 home win over Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass. on Sunday, Nov. 4 and went 13 straight games before picking up a 54-32 win at Paul Smith's College of Paul Smiths, N.Y. on Sunday, Feb. 3.

Unity College lost to Southern Maine Community College of South Portland 85-31 in the YSCC quarterfinals on Sunday, Feb. 17.

Jalkowski led the Rams in scoring as she average 9.4 points, while Anderson led in rebounds at 7.2.
