Edward Alfred Dorman went to be with the Lord, Feb. 28, 2019. Born in Belfast, July 11, 1941, he lived 62 years in Belfast. He was a son of Bruce E. Dorman and Nellie Inze Hall Dorman.

He is survived by his wife Janice Dorman; his daughters Molly A. Dorman Hustus, July Lynn Dorman Purdy; son Edward Alfred Dorman II; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mabel Clark, June Clark and Shirley Reynolds; and many nieces and nephews. Ed worked in his younger years at Hartland Tannery, Maplewood Poultry, Penobscot Poultry and Pine Grove Cemetery, Belfast.

Ed was a tease, loved to listen to gospel and country music, scratch lottery tickets, and loved plants. He volunteered at food cupboards of Methodist Church and Little River Church, where he also attended services.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Ivy and Martha; two brothers, Lawrence and Millard; his first wife Genie; and also nieces and nephews. He loved all of his friends at Tall Pines, CNA workers, Rachael, Wendy and Barbara, and his sister-in-law Geneva. Many thanks to the personnel, and staff at Tall Pines.

A graveside service will be held in the spring.
