Wow! What a wicked wind storm yesterday. Downtown looked like a dust bowl at times! I'm glad I parked under my carport; I had one branch come down that would have left a mark.

It was a busy selectmen week. We had an Economic Development Committee meeting Monday night, regular selectmen meeting Tuesday night, meeting with the Thorndike Board of Selectmen Wednesday night, and municipal officials' school budget meeting Thursday night.

Three Unity College students — Lexi, Kate, Eliza, and their professor Elsa — made a very nice presentation to the selectmen Tuesday night about municipal solar. They are doing some additional work for the town getting plans and quotes. We thank them for their efforts.

Save the date: Saturday, April 27, town clean-up day.

I talked with Mary Leaming who will be organizing the annual clean-up day for April 27. More details to follow when she firms everything up.
