The 37th annual Unity College 5-Kilometer Road Race is set for Saturday, April 20 on the school’s campus and roads of the town.

The rural setting of the campus is relaxed and comfortable and the long downhill start is advantageous for those who look to get a quick start in the 3.1-mile race that stretches out and back through Unity.

It is one of the fastest and flattest 3.1-mile courses in the state. It begins and ends at Unity College.

Registration for the race begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday and costs $10. Preregistration is available and, if applicable, is due by Friday, April 19. Awards are given by age group.

Race-walkers will begin at 9:15 a.m. and the race will begin at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Showers and changing rooms are available, while racers are invited for breakfast in town following the race.
