April B. Dudley, 67, of Winterport, passed away peacefully April 5, 2019, at Northern Lights EMMC. She was born at home Nov. 12, 1951, in Belfast, the daughter of Francis and Beverly (Albee) Dudley.

April graduated from Belfast Area High School with the class of 1970. Those who attended Belfast Area High School will remember her as being a very talented majorette. She would perform with her baton for her son Cameron as a child which he thought of being nothing short of magic. She bonded with her daughter Aneke over their shared faith and love for God. She loved the ocean. It was a peaceful place for her. She and her late husband Robert loved to dance, sometimes clearing and commanding the dance floor.

She was a bank teller for years and was a member of Faith Temple Church of God. She is remembered by her family as caregiver, self-sacrificer and peacemaker. She adored her family and was a precious human being deserving of love and happiness.

In addition to her mother she was predeceased by Robert.

Surviving, in addition to her father, are her son Cameron Roberts of Belfast, and daughter Aneke and husband Wayne Gosling of Winterport, who were her caregivers. Grandchildren Riley, Derrick, Quentin and Bryce; one great-grandchild Asher; Bryce's mom Amanda; four brothers, Brent and Virginia Dudley of Harpswell, Dale and Sharon Dudley of Lakeland, Fla., Steve Dudley of Belfast and Farley and Linda Dudley of Brooks (special thanks); as well as many nieces and nephews. Members of her group of Belfast Area High School '70 Lionesses, special friends Kathy Clements, Edna Corcoran and Rosalie Floyd.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 11, at 11 a.m. at Kinney Cemetery in Brooks with David Moore officiating. The family invites all to come and then share in fellowship and refreshments at Faith Temple Church of God in Belfast following the service.
