Recently, I had a nice visit with Noah Nelson. Thank you so much for stopping by.

An old schoolmate, Donnie Bagley, called recently, and we had a nice chat.

A big thank you to Piper and Susie for all your help in the yard. Susie loves to paint. Again, many thanks to you.

Summer Thursdays in Thorndike are flea market days. Local businesses and other vendors will have flea market tables around the village. Farwell's and Garden Variety will offer 20% off all vintage items inside the shops. Vendors are invited to set up at Farwell's or Garden Variety for $5 for five hours; bring your own table and shade. Message the Thorndike Mill and Meeting Place if you have any questions, or just take a ride out.

If you would like to volunteer to help with the upcoming bicentennial celebration, please call Mike at 322-6200 or check on the town of Thorndike website for date, time and place of meetings.

Get better, George, we miss you.

If you have not yet sent in your money and tickets for the Freedom Academy – Uni-Free HS Association Reunion and Annual Meeting, your time is running out. If you cannot attend, consider making a donation to the scholarship fund or buying some raffle tickets. If all goes well, I plan to attend this year.

My garden is doing awesome and hope yours is, too. I just love the fresh vegetables from my own garden.
