Hello to All,

Getting our news early as we have a holiday, Labor Day upcoming. It has been a busy week as always, something to keep me busy. I gave out some things to the homeless, and had some school supplies I passed on. Always paying it forward and passing on whatever I gather up. Makes me happy to do so. Everyone at one time needs a helping hand I believe. Losing my mom, Evelyn Stewart Drew, two days after her birthday in 2010 has always made me sad when Aug. 28, her birth date, arrives. We all miss and love her. Time flies right on by.

School time

It is nearly time for schools in our area to reopen, and please watch out for the kids. Stop passing school buses with the red lights flashing. No excuse, pay attention.

Don has been selling some very pretty glads at the end of our road. The yellow ones are very pretty, and the colors are so bright on all of them. Long stems on them. $1 each, $10 a dozen. I must get some for me.

Our condolences to the Bryant family on the passing of Beatrice Gardiner Bryant. May she rest in peace. I will miss Bea very much. I always enjoyed our visits and talks.

Our sympathy to the family of Constance "Connie" Waluk Hubbard who passed away this week. Thinking of her family at this time.

Little fisherman

Little Grayson Grant, who is nearly 2 years old, caught his first fish recently. How exciting for the little fellar!

Happy birthday Sept. 14 to Dee Dee Doughty. Thought I'd better mention it before I forgot. May you have many more to come.
