It was a wet, cloudy day, but that did not stop Eastern Maine Middle School Football League foes Troy Howard and Medomak from hard-hitting action on Tuesday, Oct. 1, as the Riverhawks Waldo County with a 33-6 victory.

Medomak of Waldoboro has played five of its eight regular-season games, those against Bangor (lost 19-6), Bucksport (lost 20-6), Oceanside (lost 41-0), Hampden (won 32-8), Troy Howard, with Hermon, Pittsfield and Five Town (Camden, Rockport, Hope, Appleton and Lincolnville) left on the schedule.

Troy Howard, coached by Brent Waterman, also has played five of its eight games, those against Brewer, Pittsfield, Five Town, Orono and Medomak, with Old Town, Mount Desert Island and Oceanside of Thomaston left on the schedule.

Medomak, coached by Duane and Missy Vigue, includes: Dwight "Jay" Jones, Liam Wilson, Anthony Francis, Brayden Ciasullo, Brody Vigue, Kory Donlin, Aaron Reed, Sullivan Bartlett, Austin Costa, Landon Trask, Gabriel Jones, Byrent Harvey, Porter Gahagan, Gabe Lash, Walker Simmons, Steven Wheeler, Logan Vigue, Isaac Bickford, Marshall Addy, Hunter Gourde, Sam Moody, Nathan Gess and Donald Havener.

Troy Howard, coached by Brent Waterman, includes: Isaiah Alvarez, Isaac Cummings, Sam Duval, Ryker Evans, Dennis Pomeroy, Tyson Ross, Brody Weaver, David Anderson, Caden Nickerson, Tanner Carson, Joey Davis, Teddy Dyer, Andrew Fairbrother, Quinn Gobin, Elias Higgins, Hunter Knight, Pete Lovejoy, Mason Maddocks, Chandler Patterson, Eli Veilleux, Kamin Wetherington, James Whiting and Dustin Boyton.

Others in the league are, Bangor, Dover, Ellsworth, Lincoln, Newport, Ridge View and Millinocket.
