Summer registration is open at the Hutchinson Center for University of Maine undergraduate and graduate summer online and remote-access courses, and for Early College courses offered at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center, May 11–Aug. 21.

Because of COVID-19, previously scheduled on-campus courses being offered at the Hutchinson Center in May are being converted to a remote format. In addition, UMaineOnline offers over 400 courses during Summer University.

Summer University at the University of Maine offers a large portfolio of courses, including those held at the Hutchinson Center. Those courses include basic biology, molecular chemistry, educational leadership, college composition, creative writing, literature for children, U.S. history since 1877, integrated science and career exploration, nature and language of mathematics, precalculus, general psychology and advanced topics in university studies. Need-based scholarships for Hutchinson Center students are available; applications must be received no later than two weeks prior to the start of the course. Adviser Nancy Bergerson at the Hutchinson Center is available to assist students without internet access through the scholarship application process.
