We have been having some beautiful weather with lots of sunshine. Perfect gazebo sitting weather.

A reminder to go to the Thorndike Town meeting, Saturday, Aug. 22, 9 a.m., at the Thorndike Fire Station. This will be an outside event, with the rain date is Aug. 29, same time and place. All social distancing and COVID-19 protocols will be followed. Go and have your voice heard about the town business.

My helpers of the week were Merrily, Alan Jr., Kelsey Lisa and Chris. Many thanks to all. You have made things a bit easier.

I had a nice call from an old schoolmate, Donnie Bagley, one evening recently. We have a few good laughs talking over old times.

I had some fresh blueberries brought to me and I made some blueberry dumplings. We really enjoyed them.

Mae West is quoted as saying, "To err is human — but it feels divine."

Have a great week, get outside and enjoy the day.
