Hello All,
Another week come and gone, how time is surely passing. I love summer, but the humidity not so much. Having lots of veggies from the farm stands is great now. Between Curra's, Amish Community Garden Stand and Heald's Farm, yummy. Not much town news I know of at this time.
Sympathy
I received a note that Marieta Larrabee, a former Freedom resident, had passed away in California on Aug. 1. May she rest in peace, and thinking of her family and friends.
In Tennessee
The Wrens, Caleb, Meagan, Cooper and Ryder, are in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Ryder is competing in the Loretta Lynn Amateur Motocross Championship races, the 2020 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships. This is held on Loretta's ranch, Aug. 3-8. Ryder has been doing racing for five years. Good luck to him this week.
Legion barbecue
In Unity at Post 50 on Saturday, Aug. 15, noon-gone. Chicken barbecue. Takeout only!
Market in Unity
Every Saturday morning on School Street. Different vendors show up. Baked goodies, pickles, kettle corn, veggies and more.
Friends
My friends from Wellborn, Florida, are at their cabin in Montville. They are working on the inside of the cabin to make it better. Will visit with them soon.
Until next week,
Have a great week, all. Stay safe. Be happy. Be kind.
