Country View GC women stay in swing of things

The following is news from the Country View Golf Club:

On Thursday, Aug. 6, in women's league play, first-place honors went to Nancy Carney, Donna Nason and Jean Raven, while second was secured by Joette Fields, Bobbie Grotton and Fran White.

The pin winners were: Jean Raven on the fourth hole and Fran White on the ninth.

The league tees off at 9 a.m. on Thursdays. All golfers are welcome.
