Hello to All,
It is raining as I try to type this up, and 60 degrees. We went from hot weather to cool very fast, it seems. For some reason my internet is going in and out.
Visitors and school
Gabe and Reese came and visited me. They also went to Bangor where Reese will be enrolled at Husson University for her freshman year. Good luck to her. Sara will be at UMO for her second year, and Katie starts her first there as well. Good luck to all. This virus makes it hard to do anything safely. Gabe will be a senior at Narraguagus High School. Kayden starts his senior year too at Mount View High School. Thinking of all these kids. Be safe, all.

Town meeting
I didn't go. But am wondering what happened to the fact we were to have three culverts installed on our Morse Road last year, and nothing happened. It was marked out, but nothing, and so far this year nothing done. Guess we live in the wrong part of town. Called Galen, but no answer. Hoping to hear from him.
Remembering
Our mom, Evelyn Drew, passed away on Aug. 30, two days after her birthday 10 years ago. She is missed by all of us. A wonderful mom, and grammie. Always in my heart.
Sympathy
Our sympathy to the families of Roger Lancaster and Warren Champlin II who both recently passed on. They are missed by many.
Discovered
I recently went to Hall Brook Grocery Store on Reynolds Road in Thorndike. They have everything imaginable there. All kinds of spices, cooking items, many food items, vitamins, supplements, bakery, jams. Many discount groceries.
It was raining hard and very windy so my stop was very brief there. I got molasses, yeast, cornstarch, and popcorn that I was out of. The prices are so reasonable I was surprised, a bargain for sure. Next trip I will look around more. This is next to the Chainsaw place, where my son Lin got his saw years ago. I saw used mowers for sale and more. It was worth the ride there. Check the place out.
School
School starts on Sept. 8 for many, with remote learning as well. This will be hard for working parents with little ones. Good luck to all.
Until next week,
Be safe and be well.
