The Belfast Area Chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby has cancelled its online Climate Forum set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10 because one of the two candidates to be featured withdrew Wednesday.
The group had planned to feature Maine Senate candidates from District 11 (Waldo County) Democrat Glenn "Chip" Curry of Belfast and Republican Duncan Milne of Liberty.
When The Republican Journal contacted CCL to register for the forum, staff member Karen Young replied by email, saying "Unfortunately, the Republican candidate, Duncan Milne, has pulled out at the last minute, so we have had to cancel the forum."
It is not known at this time whether the event will be rescheduled.
