Rounds grow few, but Country View women still in swing

The following is news from the Country View Golf Club:

On Thursday, Sept. 24, in women's league play, first-place honors went to the trio of Carol Courter, Jean Raven and Fran White, while second was earned by the team of Joette Fields, Donna Nason and Donna Short.

The pin winners were: Joette Fields on the fourth hole and Donna Nason on the ninth.

The women tee off at 9:30 a.m. on Thursdays. All are welcome.
