High school golf athletes were back on the course Friday and Monday, Sept. 25 and 28 in two four-team matches that again had a distinct Midcoast flavor.

On the par-36 Rockland Golf Course, Belfast, Camden Hills of Rockport, Medomak Valley of Waldoboro and Oceanside of Rockland teed it up in the second and third regional-type regular-season meet.

The six individual matches are worth one point and the overall low-four scores are tabulated for the team total — and three pivotal extra points.

For Monday's meet, Oceanside's Austin Chilles was medalist at even-par 36.

For Friday's meet, Camden Hills’ Parker Hilchey finished at even-par 36 as medalist.

Oceanside 6, Camden Hills 3

Sept. 28 at Rockland, the Mariners finished with a four-golfer, nine-hole stroke total of 172 to 178 for the Windjammers.
