One hundred two years ago, the last war that would ever be fought ended on Nov. 11, 1918, at 11 a.m. This Veterans Day there will be a celebration held at the Freedom Congregational Church at 46 Pleasant St. at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11, 2020.

The evening that I submitted the column last week I got my second skunk. I have them buried about 4 feet deep. My duck area smells faintly of skunk still. It is gross smelling.

Speaking of skunks, don't forget to vote Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Freedom Election Hall from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Masks are required in accordance with the governor's executive order concerning the election.
