Hello All,

Since there seems to be people dealing with the COVID virus in nearby town, have been staying around home. Anyway wasn't going out much anymore, been busy. My furnace gave out so one is ordered to be put in hopefully soon. Always something to deal with. Thankfully weather is not too bad at the moment. Shall survive.

Closed for winter

As of Friday, Oct. 23, Ridgetop Restaurant is closed for the upcoming winter. Diane invites you to Mammie's as there is room to social distance there, as it is bigger. Same great food, and pies, etc.

Sympathy

Our condolences to the family of Rae Jean (Warman) Miville as she has passed away in Tennessee. She suffered a stroke. Thinking of her relatives. One never knows.

Fall leaves

The leaves are mostly blown away here, but still some pretty colors, depending where you are at. Mostly yellow and orange here at home and in the distance. Sanborn Pond looks pretty there, all colors to see.

Dirigo Grange bake sale

I call this place Freedom Grange, as I always have known it as that. On Saturday, Nov. 7, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., there will be a bake sale in the parking lot there. I am told there will be cakes, cookies, whoopie pies and fudge among other baked goodies. Sounds yummy.

Little Miss Reagan

She is progressing at this time from her surgery. They have taken her breathing tube out, and she is on oxygen. She is being monitored closely. She will be on anti-coagulants for some time. Was nice to see pics of her Mama Ashley holding her. Still needs prayers. We hope she will be home before too long now.

Newborn

Another little one has arrived. Waylon James Whitaker was born Friday, Oct. 23, weighing 5 lb. 2 oz., and 16.5 inches long. His proud parents are Jared Whitaker and Cristine Smith. Congrats to all the family.
