The new drive-up service window is complete at the Town Office and selectmen, along with the town manager, had a ribbon cutting Oct. 9.

Town Manager James Gillway said the window has been "very active," serving about 15 people a day for the last two weeks. As a test run, Gillway said, Town Office staff are accepting only ballots at this time at the window and will be expanding service "as we go." The new window will eventually be available for all other types of Town Office business.

In the winter months, Gillway said, the window will be taking a hiatus and will open back up in spring.

"If we get shut down because of COVID," he said, "we will be opening up the window again."
