Gary L. Maddocks, 57, passed away at Eastern Maine Medical Center Oct. 23, 2020, after a courageous battle with laryngeal cancer. He was born Nov. 1, 1962, in Belfast to Everett E. Maddocks Sr. and Joyce A. (Rollins) Maddocks.
Gary's favorite pastime was hunting and if you knew him well, you would know that he had a great sense of humor. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers. Joe Rosebush, Michael Hitchborn and Larry Maddocks, and two sisters, Patricia Feener and Alice Dwyer.
He is survived by his three daughters, Jessica Kelley, Jenna Maddocks, and Brandee Sawyer and her husband, Dustin; three grandsons, Brendyn Kelley, Leighton Thompson and Dominic Sawyer. He is also survived by brothers Everett Maddocks and wife Laurel, and Bert Maddocks and wife Rhonda; sisters Carol Gray and husband Garlie, Joyce Boutelle, Pam Knowlton and her husband Roland, and Jane Simpson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Gary's request, there will be no services held at this time.
