He served in the Navy and spent his career as a truck driver, driving over a million miles and passing through all 48 states of the continental U.S. David enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and horse races, but his biggest joy was his grandchildren.

David was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Gloria, his son Edgar Alan Keniston and eight of his siblings. Surviving are his companion, Joyce Tibbetts of Swanville; his children, Barbara Goodwin of Winterport, Clyde Keniston of Orland and Denise Lindsay of Las Vegas; his daughter-in-law, Kim; his siblings, Ivan Keniston and Rose Tibbetts, both of Searsport; and a host of loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank Harbor Hill for the wonderful care they provided to David. Services will be held in the spring. Memories and condolences may be shared at ripostafh.com.
