Hello All,
It has gotten colder here. Time for the warmer clothes to come out.
Congrats to Aaron Elkins on his 8-pt., 180-lb. buck he got recently. The hunters are out in full force trying their luck to bag a big one. Some have already gotten their deer. Good luck to all.
Newborn son
Congrats to Camerine Spaulding and Erlin Willette on their little son Asher Ray Willette. He weighed 8lb. 1oz. and was 20 inches long. He was born Nov. 12 at 11:47 a.m. Congrats to the grandparents, too.
Sympathy
On Nov. 11, Carl Perkins Jr. ("Butch") passed away at his home. He had lung cancer. Thinking of his family and friends, as he will be missed. He grew up on this road in Montville.
Frye Mountain Riders
The snowmobile club has joined with the ATVs and now will be working together. President is Josh Larrabee, vice president is Darren Doughty, secretary-treasurer is Cindy Larrabee, snowmobile trail master is Rob Larrabee, ATV Brooks trail master is George Gallagher, ATV Knox trail master is Matt Reynolds. Join in. Help maintain the trails to ride. Stay on trails. Landowners offer the privilege to ride, so respect them and have lots of fun. Some will see you on the trail. Hopefully they can find a place to meet.
Next food boxes
USDA Farm to Families boxes will be distributed on Friday, Nov. 20, at Mount View High School, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and in Belfast at athenahealth, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. These boxes are for anyone, regardless of income. No eligibility required.
Get well
Get well wishes to Tammy McCue. I hope you get better soon. And to Bob Richardson who had a mini-stroke.
Another week
Soon will be Thanksgiving, so want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving at this time. I will spend the day with Wayne and Laura and family.
Until next week,
Take care all. Be well. Not much for news.
