Hello All,

I hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving Day! I am getting together with Wayne, Laura and family. Be grateful and thankful for all you have. There are those who have less.

The food boxes from Farmers to Families have helped many people. I got some for others to have. Always nice to think of others. It was most appreciated.

Belated birthday

A happy 84th birthday to Gwen Kinney!

Benefit drive-thru dinner

A Spaghetti Dinner will be held at Lori's Cafe in Liberty for Puncin St. Clair. This will be on Sunday, Dec. 6, 4-7 p.m. Any info, contact Lori Meyer or Sue Tolman. He was out hunting and lost his vision and was LifeFlighted to Maine Med in Portland. I was told that he had a three-hour surgery with five clips in his brain to release pressure and blood. We wish him a speedy recovery. Prayers and thinking of his family that he is better very soon.

Speaking of Christmas time

The fifth annual Unity Yuletide and Parade of Lights will be Sunday, Dec. 6, 4:30 p.m. for lighting and 5 p.m. for parade. Bring the kids to see Santa, leave him a letter, and get a snack. The decorations look very nice as I drove by yesterday. Masks and social distancing are recommended.

Our condolences to the families of Dickie Turner and Patty Banker who passed recently. Thinking of all.

I saw an obit for Ervin Tyler who recently passed in Winslow. He will be missed at the Freedom Academy reunions.

To Lin, Joel and Danny, too. Thinking of all of you. Stay strong.

Farm to Family boxes

This program has been being held at Mount View High School for anyone regardless of income to go and pick up a drive-thru box of food. There was a gallon of milk, two cottage cheese, two sour cream, two quarts of liquid eggs, box of strawberries, watermelon, and bag of apples, 3 lb. cooked chicken thighs, and a bag of cranberries in the boxes. Hope people enjoyed this. Sure helps many.

Until next time,

Enjoy Thanksgiving! Not much for local news. Stay safe and warm. The temps have been pretty good. The hunters are out in full force.
