I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and stayed safe. Our day was very enjoyable. Alan Jr. joined Dustin and I for a fantastic feast planned out by Dustin. We finished it off with a homemade chocolate pie and champagne. Now he is working on the menu for our Christmas dinner.

Sincere condolences are being sent to the family and friends of Richard (Dickie) Turner. He also was a race car driver at Unity. He will definitely be missed by all those that knew and loved him.

The Thorndike Town Office is working in conjunction with Regional School Unit 3 collecting clean and in good condition clothing, hats and mittens for any kiddos that need some warm winter clothing. If you have any questions about this, please call the Thorndike Town Office at 568-3655. There is also a box for new, unused, unwrapped toys. I believe this is is in conjunction with Toys for Tots.

It was recently brought to my attention that it is time to start thinking about the next town meeting. If you have any interest in running for any of the offices, start getting out in the community and talking with people about changes that you would like to see and how to bring them about.

The Thorndike Town Office is working in conjunction with Waldo County Emergency Management to set up a warming center in emergency situations. More information to follow.
