Stephen "Steve" C. Morin, born May 24, 1952, in Belfast to Leo and Hilda Morin, died Nov. 28, 2020, at Northern Light Health EMMC, Bangor, after a brief illness.

Over the years Steve worked for the Belfast Railroad, Penobscot Poultry, Sprague Energy, and the town of Searsport at the cemetery and recycling station. He enjoyed volunteering and helping people around town in any way he could: plowing snow, directing traffic at fires or accidents, carrying packages at the food bank, or at Tozier’s Family Market. He was proud of his connection with the Lions Club. And most of all he loved spending time with his family and many friends.

Steve is survived by Kathy (Morse) Morin, his wife of 30 years; his daughters, Selina McKinney and partner Kevin McKinney of South China, and Roberta Willette of Westerly, R.I.; stepson Scott Cooper of Searsport; aunt and uncle Madeline and Caddy Littlefield of Searsport; four sisters-in-law and their families; eight grandchildren; three god-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many cousins, all of whom he loved very much.

He also had numerous friends who filled a very special place in his heart for their friendship, loyalty, guidance and support.

Burial and a celebration of life will be announced at a later time. Memories and condolences to the family may be shared at ripostafh.com.
